SEI WARRANTY

This appliance must be used for intended purposes ONLY.

Stored Energy Integrations, SEI, warrants its products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase by the end-user. During the warranty period, SEI will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective product free of charge.

This warranty will be void if the unit has incurred any physical damage or alteration, either internally or externally. It also does not cover damages resulting from improper use, such as:

​

· Reversed battery polarity

· Inadequate connection

· Mechanical shock or deformation

· Contact with liquid or oxidation by condensation

· Use in inappropriate environments (e.g., dust, corrosive vapor, humidity, high temperature, biological infestation)

· Breakage or damage due to lightning

· Destruction of connection terminals and screws, or other damages like overheating due to insufficient tightening

· Electronic breakage except due to lightning (e.g., reverse polarity, over-voltage due to external causes), where the warranty is determined by the state of internal components

This warranty excludes instances where the product has been misused, neglected, improperly installed, or repaired by anyone other than SEI or one of its authorized Repair Centers. To qualify for warranty service, the product must not be disassembled or modified. Repair, replacement, or credit are the sole remedies available, and SEI shall not be liable for damages, whether direct, incidental, special, or consequential, even if caused by negligence or fault.

SEI retains ownership of all parts removed from repaired products. Warranty repairs or replacements may involve the use of new or reconditioned parts made by various manufacturers. Repair or replacement of a part does not extend its original warranty term. All remedies and the measure for damages are limited as described above. SEI shall not be liable for consequential, incidental, contingent, or special damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Any other warranties expressed or implied by law, course of dealing, course of performance, usage of trade, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase.

Life Support Policy: As a general policy, SEI does not recommend the use of any of its products in life support applications where failure or malfunction could reasonably be expected to cause the failure of the life support device or significantly affect its safety or effectiveness. SEI also does not recommend the use of its products in direct patient care. SEI will not knowingly sell its products for use in such applications unless it receives satisfactory written assurances that risks have been minimized, the customer assumes all risks, and SEI's liability is adequately protected.

Severability: If any part of the terms and conditions outlined above is found to be invalid, void, or unenforceable under any national or international legislation, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions.
